It's not often I try something so blatantly entrepreneurial on this site; but I'd like you to sign up for my email (or snail mail) list.
That way I can send you news (and maybe even freebies, if I create one, and I've an idea!) for each of my upcoming books. So often, I hear from readers, "If I wouldn't have stumbled across this book in a store, I'd never have known you'd written another one."
So I'd like to create a system: Will you help me? Get on the list so that I can send you a note, a card or some kind of freebie related to my novels. I promise no Spam -- even in a can.
Jackie

Hello Jacquelyn,
Today 5/27/06 my I received a call at work from my husband (I work for All The Dirt! Racing News as a graphic artist ... I am also a WI licensed Veterinary Tech.). My husband, Paul, said he was listening to Public Radio and you mentioned that you had a Clydesdale for sale. Just a little history: We have been searching for a rather large horse for Paul (6 foot four) so we can again go riding with our daughter. Alyssa is cognitively delayed. She has been attending horse camp with Smokey her horse at the Debuque Trailblazers 4-H camp for 10 years now. They teach 120 some kids and their horses to ride safe and to enjoy gaming and shows. Alyssa has fit in well there in spite of her delays. Paul had to sell his horse when we moved. He went to our rodeo riding highschool neighbor. Dutchboy is a big sporting type paint. We still visit him and can see that he is having way too much fun for us to spoil it for him by taking him back just yet. At home we have my horse Maggie and Smokey both quarter horses. Spoiled, but in a good way! Recently we added another rescue dog to our household clan of two other dogs and 4 cats, all spoiled as well. I must be up front. We are not capable of spending a great amount at this time but If you would like to talk about the possibility of your equine friend joining our family please contact us at Paul's email address or call 715-210-0475. Thank you. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Jackie. I met you tonight in Tosa. I have the TWO redheads and a dishwater blonde. It was really nice to have you sign my books and to see that you are so completely "normal". I'm not quite sure what I expected.
It was a hard day as we had to put our cat to sleep after she was attacked by dogs. I almost didn't come to the signing, but I made the effort and am so glad I did. I met Atticus and thought him to be quite cute.........he knows his mom for sure! Anyhow, I ramble. I'm going to start Cage tomorrow. I hope to get to meet you again some day.
